At the end of the 18th century the house was known under the name Einkehrgasthof zum Goldenen Jägerhorn The golden hunter\\\\ s horn Inn. Franz Grillparzer was known to spend a lot of time there. Between 1913 and 1919, it was a popular meeting place for well-known authors, like Peter Altenberg, Franz Kafka and Max Brod. In 1927, the Graben Hotel was purchased by the Kremslehner Family. Decorated with elegant Italian or original Art Nouveau furniture, the individually furnished rooms are air-conditioned and soundproof. They feature a seating area, a minibar, cable TV, and a bathroom.
