The rooms are large by Parisian standards, and very well-decorated, either in blue or red colors, and very charming. Each room has a small sitting area or desk. The rooms are very well-equipped, and the windows are soundproofed; some rooms view the Palais Royal. The marble bathrooms are held in light colors, and all have bathtubs. On the 6th floor, there is also a terrace. The breakfast room is under the reception, but even downstairs there is natural light coming inside. The furniture is dark, but the light-painted walls make a friendly atmosphere. There is also a small bar, where drinks can be taken any time. This is a historical, 6-floor building, with a beautiful facade, reminiscent of Louis XV. The hotel used to be owned by Madame de Pompadour. The lobby is medium-size, held in very light pastel colors. On the right-hand side, there is a large sitting area, with a fireplace thath gives a cozy and familiar atmosphere. Nicely decorated, with little details like fresh flowers makes guests feel welcome. This is a 4-star hotel, considered a superior first-class.
